MARC PIERCE
Co-Founder

Marc Pierce is a seasoned entrepreneur and start-up investor in the entertainment industry and more. Already having successfully started and sold a collectible breweriana business as a teenager in his home state of Illinois, he moved west to attend Montana State University and soon put down roots. In 1980, he co-founded Big Sky Carvers in Manhattan, MT which grew into a renowned producer of outdoor-themed home décor, collectibles, and gifts. The company had manufacturing in the US and five Asian countries, employed hundreds of workers, had showrooms in several major US cities and counted over five-thousand retailers as customers.  In 2003, Big Sky Carvers was sold to private equity.  Soon after, Pierce was asked to co-lead a roll up of multiple lifestyle brands to form Group Montana, Inc which ultimately led to his acquiring assets from the owners to form The Yellowstone Company in 2008 which was sold to the Demdaco corporation in 2010.  Pierce is also co-founder and Chairman of Highlander Beer, a brand originally founded in 1910 and once again distributed throughout Montana as one of the state’s most popular beers.

Pierce began his television career as a host of over 100 episodes of outdoor adventure television, later parlaying his experience in front of the camera to a producer role as he and his partner launched Warm Springs Productions in Missoula, MT in 2008. The Warm Springs team has now produced series for 12 cable and streaming networks and is likely the most prolific television producer in America not naming either the greater NYC or LA areas as home.

Warm Springs Productions is a turn-key, award-winning production company with a team of 100+ full-time staff that specialize in creating captivating television from start to finish. Since its inception in 2008, Warm Springs has produced over 40 series totaling nearly 2000 hours of television.  From the long-running hit series Mountain Men, Louisiana Law and Beach Hunters to relative newcomers Yellowstone 150 with Kevin Costner, Kelsey Grammar's Historic Battles for America, How America Works with Mike Rowe, Magnolia's The Craftsman and more. Warm Springs combines high-level visuals with premium storytelling, all executed happily from the heart of Big Sky Country in Missoula, Montana. Our network partners include Fox Nation, History Channel, Discovery, HGTV, Peacock, Fox Business, Motor Trend, Animal Planet, INSP, National Geographic, Roku, Magnolia, and more.

Pierce lives on a farm in Manhattan, MT with his wife Sherrie where they raised two boys, two girls, and many Labrador Retrievers.
